We combine all those talents and more together with skills, knowledge and experience in software, management, administrative practice - and training design and delivery. We’re experts in training.

History

It’s been a voyage of exciting discovery and learning for us since we commenced in 2000. Linked Training began as a computer training provider. The company was, and continues to be, managed by Michelle and Paul Linton. Paul brought to the business 20 years experience in computer software and hardware. This included application use, programming and network administration in large corporates. Michelle brought the creativity, and a talent for listening to people and understanding the barriers to learning. Together they set the company standards; focusing on developing a training approach that guaranteed consistent quality delivery and results.

Training outcomes and client confidence saw the company grow, and demand from clients lead to expansion of our range of training services. We became a Registered Training Organisation, focusing on our areas of expertise to deliver the Business Services training package. Our clients recognised our excellence in project management, and it wasn’t long before we were implementing training programs across NSW and nationally. Along the way we set in place standards that ensured continuous improvement that are now firmly cemented in the company.

Today

Today the company is a cohesive team of people with a variety of specialist skills. When you work with Linked Training multiple people are making sure the training is just right – even though you may not see them. All training is approved by a Learning & Development manager, tailored by an Instructional Designer, and booked by a Training Coordinator. We make all this simple and seamless for our clients, and ensure your project and objectives are successfully achieved.

The final strength is our Trainers. They are the people who will ensure students learn and apply. Trainers must bring to the training depth of knowledge of the subject matter. But knowledge alone makes a poor Trainer. Our Trainers engage the students, listen to their individual needs, and adapt their communication for different circumstances. At the same time they are dynamic, inspiring and caring. With this combination of delivery skill in place students are free to listen, learn and achieve.

Our own love of learning guarantees we’re always training ourselves to be the best we can possibly be, and we continue to be rewarded by our work.
